We have  been learning about Vikings in Primary 4. We have included some pictures to show you what we have been learning and doing in class.

First we looked at where Vikings came from and why they came. We used our map skills to locate Scandinavia and coloured in our own map showing the route the Vikings took to come to Britain.

We drew Viking longships and labelled each part. (Olivia & Hazel)

We have watched Viking videos on the Promethean board. (Emmanuella)

We worked together to draw and paint our own Viking Ship. (Cameron)

We decorated our own Vikings and Shields using different colours. (Katie)

We coloured in a picture of Longship using lines and patterns. (Chloe)

 

I have enjoyed the topic so far, i think Vikings are very interesting because they made longships. (Jodi)

I am looking forward to making my own boat and checking to see if it Floats or Sinks. (Lily)
