As this week was the celebration of 100 years of Roald Dahl, we watched a live stream of writer and translator Matthew Fitt, talking about the work he has done with some of Roald Dahl’s famous stories. Matthew has retold the stories in Scots, and chatted and answered questions this morning about the strategies he uses to write and translate into Scots.

This afternoon we also read Matthew Fitt’s Scottish translation of The Three Pigs.
