Collage sun, papier mache planets and a mile-a-day

This week, we have been busy adding to our Space wall display. We used tissue paper and glue to collage some beautiful suns, and also used papier mache to start making 3D planets. The children loved doing this, although Mrs Bowden wasn’t so keen on the clean-up required afterwards. We will paint them next week so watch this space……

We took advantage of the lovely weather, and went for a walk. We are building up to a mile-a-day.

This week we also enjoyed using the Numicon during Active Maths, playing loop cards with numbers to 20, singing our Solar System songs and learning more about Katie Morag. What a busy class we are!
