Investigation

Pupils use I see, I think, I wonder, to help them identify a mystery Scottish scientist and his world famous discovery.

Each pupil then investigates a scientist / inventor / engineer / doctor connected with Scotland, and create a poster about their life and work. Pupils will be present their work to the class.

Skills used in this investigation

  • Information literacy: advanced research skills, keywords, scanning, making notes, creating a visual presentation, confident speaking.
  • Higher Order Thinking Skills: creating questions.
  • ICT: advanced search skills
