Cathedral learners embraced National Numeracy Day with creativity, teamwork and plenty of mathematical thinking as they designed and built their very own board games. From the first sketches to the final rules, pupils showed impressive imagination and a strong understanding of the numeracy concepts they chose to include.
What made the experience even more special was the chance to test their games with younger learners across the school. Pupil designers became teachers, guiding others through the gameplay and seeing their ideas come to life in real time.
