Today we held our official Campus Connections photo shoot, bringing together our nominated pupil committee members from OLGA Cathedral, Firpark and Clydeview Primary Schools. With their biggest smiles on display, our young representatives were ready to celebrate the beginning of what promises to be a fantastic year of collaboration, creativity and community spirit.
Campus Connections is all about bringing our school communities closer together, giving our children a voice and creating meaningful opportunities for them to work collaboratively, share ideas and make a positive difference across our campus. We are incredibly proud of our young committee members and look forward to seeing the enthusiasm, leadership and fresh ideas they will bring to this exciting partnership.
Our Campus Connections journey is already gathering momentum, with a wonderful programme of events and initiatives planned for the term ahead. There is something for everyone, and we cannot wait to see our pupils working together, building friendships and making lasting memories.
Here is a little taste of what is to come!
Campus Social Event
We will kick things off with a relaxed and enjoyable social event, giving the children an opportunity to meet one another, strengthen friendships and get to know their fellow committee members over some delicious refreshments and tasty treats. A perfect way to build connections and get our journey underway!
Campus Food Tasting Event
Our young committee members will have an important role to play in helping to shape the future of our joint canteen menu. Through our campus food-tasting event, pupils will have the opportunity to sample different options, share their opinions and offer valuable feedback to help improve and refresh the menu. After all, pupil voice matters, especially when it comes to what is on our plates!
Beats of Brazil
Get ready to feel the rhythm! This promises to be an exciting opportunity to explore the vibrant sounds, music and culture of Brazil. We look forward to an energetic experience that will bring our pupils together through the universal language of music and dance.
Campus Car Park Campaign
Our committee will turn its attention to promoting a safer, more considerate and more welcoming campus for everyone. Through our Campus Car Park Campaign, we aim to raise awareness of responsible parking and encourage positive habits that help keep our children, families and wider school communities safe.
Campus Clean-Up!
Teamwork will be at the heart of our Campus Clean-Up initiative as our pupils come together to help keep our shared surroundings clean, tidy and welcoming. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a sense of responsibility, take pride in our environment and demonstrate how small actions can make a big difference.
Christmas Fayre
The festive excitement will begin as we come together for our Christmas Fayre! This special event will provide an opportunity to celebrate the season, enjoy the festive atmosphere and strengthen the wonderful connections between our school communities.
December – Celebrating Our Christmas Shows and Nativities
As we approach the festive season, our Campus Connections committee members including Miss Cawley and Mr Cotter will visit the Christmas shows and nativity performances across our schools. This will be a lovely opportunity to celebrate the talents, creativity and achievements of our pupils while showing support for one another and sharing in the magic of Christmas.
