Primary 5 explore data through school surveys

Primary 5 have been developing their data‑handling skills through an engaging whole‑school survey project. Each group was allocated a class to work with and given the responsibility of designing and carrying out a survey of their choice. Topics ranged from World Cup winners to favourite games on the Games Station, giving pupils the chance to explore questions that genuinely interested them.

After collecting responses, pupils worked collaboratively to collate their results and present and share their findings using charts and bar graphs with Mrs Duffy. This activity supported their learning in gathering, organising, analysing and interpreting information, while also building confidence in presenting data clearly and accurately.

The learners showed great enthusiasm and independence throughout and the quality of their finished graphs reflects the hard work they put in.
