Nursery children enjoy learning with their buddies

Our Primary 6 buddies joined their friends in the nursery on Wednesday 30th April to enjoy some indoor and outdoor learning together. The above group headed to the sand area, finding some dinosaurs on the way, and had great fun creating a prehistoric land for their dinosaurs to explore.

These regular buddy sessions are an important part of Cathedral’s Nursery – Primary 1 transition as by the time our young learners begin Primary 1 in August, our older learners will be Primary 7 and positive and supportive friendships will have already been established.

His Majesty’s Inspectors of Education (HMIe) will carry out an inspection of Cathedral Primary School and Nursery Class during the week commencing Monday 12th May.
