Another fun week of learning in Cathedral nursery

With this week’s beautiful weather, our young learners in the nursery have been out in the garden area planting and tending to the plants. This has given them the opportunity to learn to identify and name the different parts of plants and flowers such as the leaf and the stem.

Indoors, our learners have been using mirrors to observe and draw their facial expressions and have explored and discussed how our feelings and emotions can affect our expressions. During his visits to the nursery this week, the only facial expression Mr Young has seen is one huge SMILE after another!


His Majesty’s Inspectors of Education (HMIe) will carry out an inspection of Cathedral Primary School and Nursery Class during the week commencing Monday 12th May.
