This Primary 7 learner interviewed Mr Young on Monday 24th March for a very interesting (and historic) reason. Way back in 2000, the year Cathedral Primary celebrated its 125th anniversary, his mum was a Primary 7 pupil in Cathedral and interviewed a former Head Teacher for a special anniversary magazine. Twenty-five years down the line, we thought it would be a nice idea to do a similar interview and display the 2000 (mum) and 2025 (son) articles side by side in our 150th anniversary exhibition, which takes place in May.
Mr Young was asked lots of interesting questions during the interview including when and where he started teaching, what he enjoys most about being a Head Teacher and if he ever got the belt at school. You’ll need to wait until May’s exhibition to find out the answer!
