The latest artwork to appear in Cathedral GOMA (Gallery Of Magnificent Art) online exhibition comes from Primary 3a.
Our Primary 3 learners have been studying different artists this term and the class’s eye-catching display features art inspired by four different artists. The work of Matisse was recreated using carefully cut out paper; watercolours were used to paint beautiful seascapes in the style of Hokusai; Munch’s ‘The Scream’ was recreated using oil pastels and paint; and our young artists used felt pen and watercolours to create striking abstract portraits in the style of Picasso. Impressive!
Keep watching this space for more masterpieces from Cathedral’s talented artists.
