Spanish twist to Lenten almsgiving

Cathedral’s Lenten almsgiving took on a Spanish twist on Friday 14th March, with learners and staff being invited to wear the colours of the Spanish flag. There was also the opportunity to get some Spanish-themed face painting, which was very popular with learners across the school.

This year’s Lenten activities have already raised £668.53 for Missio. Next week, the children are invited to wear brightly-coloured or odd socks to mark Down’s Syndrome Awareness Day and donate an item for the local foodbank.
