Primary 5 apply their food technology learning

Primary 5 have been focusing on food technology in class over the past few weeks and have learned about food hygiene, food storage, kitchen safety and knife skills. The children had the opportunity to apply their learning on Friday 3rd May when they made their own pizzas. Prior to embarking on their cooking activity, there were some important discussions about food allergies and intolerances as everything had to be nut free and the children also wanted to ensure there were both dairy free and vegetarian options. Our Primary 5 learners will be further developing their cooking skills this week when they make fruit kebabs.
