We are joining in Digital learning Week and will post any updates on our website. Lots of great work and it will be showcased.

Time on our Hands
P6a were investigating time in our outdoor environment. They had to investigate items that show the passing of time. Some great answers included:-
The sun (casting shadows)
The sun (showing time of day or season i.e. morning/ afternoon…etc)
Plants growing
Condition of building and items (showing deterioration over time).
A time scavenger hunt was the next task where children had to solve time related problems. The wind made that interesting!!
P1 & P6 Learning Tasks
Our Primary 1 and Primary 6 children were working together, using the outdoor environment. Primary 1 were showcasing their knowledge of compound words. Primary 6 were demostrating their management and collaborative working skills. Both worked incredibly hard and it was a very successful lesson. Well done to all.

Primary 5-Primary 7 were involved in an EPIC, 65 question, General Knowledge Quiz. They impressed with their knowledge and understanding. However, there can only be one winner.

Science Experiments
P6a were challenged to see if the bulb would light up in 10 different situations. Would you get it right?

P6a were given a set of resources with the challenge- “Can you make the bulb light up?” It took a bit of trial and error but we got there!!
