On Thursday 18th February, Primary 6a and Primary 6b visited Edinburgh Zoo as part of their Interdisciplinary Learning on the Rainforest. We had a visit from a lot of animals including a royal python, a white tree frog and a hissing cockroach (which come from Madagascar). We also got to hold and touch these animals, apart from the tree frog. It was a great and informative day and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Primary 6a and Primary 6b were decorating empty jars for Art. We were including different media so that the jars would look good when a tealight was inserted. Our finished articles looked fantastic.

Growing our own food

Primary 6b have been growing watercress in the Primary 1 classroom because they decided it got the most light. They researched the best environment for growing. They watered the seeds and tracked their growth.
