P6 P.E. Raft Game

Primary 6 were focusing on their co-ordination and problem solving skills during P.E. last week. They had to work together to move from one end of the hall to the other. However, they were not allowed to touch water (floor). They could only use two rafts (mats) to help get them to the other side in a limited time. Sadly, one team got stranded in the water by throwing their raft too far into the water.

P6 are teachers for the afternoon

Primary 6 were challenged to apply their knowledge and skills to develop a lesson for Primary 2 to participate in. Many of the children designed games that involved the creation of both the activities and the rules. They worked very well alongside their groups and responded very well to the challenge. Some of the responses were-

P6-

“It was quite challenging to make them because you had to think what a P2 would be able to do but it was nice to see them participate”- Luke

“I liked watching them enjoy themselves and try to work out the puzzle”- Christian

“I liked playing the game with them and watching them have a good time”- Cameron

P2-

“I enjoyed spot the difference the best”- Alix

“I liked it because it was fun”- Zach

“I enjoyed playing my snakes and ladders with the Primary 6”- Abi
