As a holistic Communication Environment with a Communication Champion, Mavisbank School pupils and staff make use of a wide range of approaches to meet and support individual communication needs. These are specific to the needs of each individual.
Pupils may use approaches such as: GoTalk, symbols, Social Stories, Makaton, PECs, Objects of Reference, Talking Mats, On Body Signs.
