At Kirkshaws Primary we work hard to build and maintain close partnerships with local businesses and organisations including the residents at St James Court and Coatbridge Rovers F.C.

With your support we can send gifts to everyone at St James Court, as well as inviting them over to join us for our Christmas Performances.  Occasionally, small groups of learners from our school and nursery also make the short trip over to perform some songs to the residents throughout the year.

Coatbridge Rovers F.C. are a local football team and we have benefitted from having them in school to run a number of busy after school clubs.  In addition to this, some of the coaches have come into school to work with our Nursery and P.1 pupils in class.  The children have all enjoyed the coaching and look forward to each visit.

Throughout the year, our school also works hard to raise money for various charitable causes annually, such as Poppy Scotland our local Foodbank and, more recently, Cancer Research. We are proud of the caring ethos in the school and are impressed by the way in which our pupils are always looking for ways to help others in need.
