10 of our P4-6 pupils had a great time at the Coatbridge / Airdrie Cluster Handball Festival. We took part in lots of Handball games against other schools and scored lots of great goals too. I think we might need to start a new Handball Club with all of the enthusiasm that was shown.

Today’s assembly was the turn of Room 16 to perform at the House Assembly and they showed off all of their hard work and learning about Antarctica – a fascinating subject! Have a look at some pictures below… Next it was time to find out who had won the House Points this time round. To start off we found out who had the most class points: Dundyvan: 149 Rosehall: 119

Today 20 of our P4 and P5 pupils went along to Airdrie Leisure Centre to take part in the local Sportshall Athletics Festival. The pupils took part in lots of track and field events including the javelin, long jump, speed bounce and various relay races and had lots of fun!

Today we had our Halloween Parade in the afternoon where all of the boys and girls came into school dressed up in all sorts of costumes. Each class moved around the hall in a circle to parade their costumes and the teachers had the unenvious task of choosing their favourite costumes. Have a look at the amazing costumes below!

House Assembly (Room 9) Friday 23rd October

On Friday we had our third House Assembly of the year. It was the time of Room 9 to show off all of their hard work and learning from the class. They presented all of their learning on keeping our playground and the environment tidy by always picking up and placing litter in bins. Today some of our Primary 5, 6, and 7 pupils went along to St Ambrose High School to take part in a local football festival. Our P5 boys played 6 games and won 5 with only 1 defeat. Our P6 boys played 5 games winning 2 and narrowly losing 3 games. Our P6-7 girls played 6 games winning 4, drawing 1 and only losing 1 game (a narrow 1-0 defeat).
