HAPPY EASTER TO ALL KIRKSHAWS FAMILIES!
Many thanks to everyone who entered our Easter Competitions. I can’t believe how hard it was to choose 3 winners from each category…EVERY ONE WAS A WINNER in its own right! However, the 6 pictured above received special recognition for each being unique in their own way.
As we stop now for our Easter Break, can I thank you all for your support through one of our toughest terms yet. No one could have predicted how the first 3 months of 2021 were going to unfold, but we got there…together!
Our learners have shown remarkable resilience and a positive attitude to ever-changing expectations. I am so proud of them all! But I know that comes with family support and I don’t underestimate how hard it has been to keep everyone motivated. Thank you.
AUTISM AWARENESS WEEK
This week we celebrated unique qualities, tolerance, diversity and being proud to be different as we took part in Autism Awareness Week. Huge thanks must go to Mrs McGarry for all her work preparing for the week, providing guidance to all classes and leading an amazing assembly this morning where so many pupils confidently shared their own knowledge of the subject. It was so encouraging to see Leadership of the Learning coming from all classes and all ages. Please take time to ask your child what they have taken away from this week – I think you will be impressed!
