School Photo Day & Uniform
There has been a change to the school and nursery photo day. School and nursery photos will now be taken on Monday 23rd September.
We called yesterday to confirm the date and ask that stage photos are also taken as I would like to display these in the corridor. The photographer then explained that due to another booking, our date has changed and will be as above. I have updated this on the latest newsletter. Please accept my apologies for this change.
At Kirkshaws we believe that wearing school uniform instils a sense of pride and belonging in our school community. We have a wide uniform policy and expect children to be wearing their uniform on school photo day and every day.
Please remember that sweatshirts and trousers with logos other than the school badge are not considered as school uniform. Plain navy jumpers and cardigans are part of our uniform.
We encourage our children to be active and ask that children wear shoes/trainers to school that are fitted to their feet. Crocs are not safe schoolwear as children can easily slip out of these particularly on wet days.
