Mrs N’s Notes, 28.10.22

Week 2 menus for the week ahead.  Remember to check the menu as there have been some changes over the holiday.

FOOTBALL FESTIVAL

Many thanks to Mr Gall and Mrs Law who accompanied our football teams to St Ambrose High School on Thursday this week.  Two teams of boys and girls demonstrated excellent teamwork and sportsmanship.  Yet again our pupils were amazing ambassadors for our school.  We are so proud of you ALL!

HALLOWE’EN DISCO

As you can see we all had a ball at our first disco in 3 years!  Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen.  From the youngest to the eldest we danced the night away!

HALLOWE’EN PARADE

Any child who wants to come to school or nursery dressed up in their Hallowe’en costume on Monday is most welcome to.  However, as always, pupils are always free to wear uniform if they are happier in that.  The Parade will take place on Monday morning.  Please remember to check if your child can go to the toilet independently.  Some pupils may also wish to bring a change of clothes so they don’t need to stay in costume all day.

CLUBS, CLUBS, CLUBS

We are delighted to be able to get back to normal and start offering some after school clubs once again.

In the past week invitation letters have come home, covering all stages.  The clubs currently on offer include Basketball, Christmas Crafts, Drama and Junior Librarians.  If your child wishes a place at any of these clubs, please ask them to return their interest letter to the school office as soon as possible as places are limited.  CHRISTMAS CRAFTS FOR P.1-3 IS NOW FULL.

    1. All pupils have had the chance to bring home club-letters, but not all pupils express an interest. Room 9 have had the opportunity to join Christmas Crafts and Drama. If she has changed her mind she should ask her teacher for a letter.
