ART COMPETITION WINNERS
After all the voting was completed, we were able to announce our recent Valentine’s Art Competition winners at assembly this week. Well done to everyone who has their work on display in our Gallery in Room 8. You are all superstars.
LET IT GO AMELIA!
Have you seen the video of a little Ukrainian girl singing in a shelter to lift everyone’s spirits? We accepted the challenge given to Scottish children to sing right back to her in Ukrainian. We hear you, Amelia and stand with you at this difficult time.
Here is our Junior Assembly this morning…Seniors next week!
Didn’t we do well!
SPORTS LEADERS
Our P.7 pupils are enjoying the series of lessons delivered by Sports’ Leaders from Coatbridge High School. Many thanks to these dedicated young people for your time and efforts. Much appreciated!
TRANSITION
P.7 parents, remember Coatbridge High School has organised a Parents’ Open Night next Wednesday, 23rd March. Pupils are welcome to accompany parents and carers to the event. Invitations were sent home by the high school several weeks ago.
Those nursery pupils who will be joining us in P.1 in August are also enjoying transition visits. As you can see from our video above, a group are regularly joining us now for our Junior Assembly each Friday morning. In addition, groups have started visiting Room 1 to join in some shared learning experiences with our current P.1 pupils. We look forward to this developing further in Term 4.
REPORTS
All pupils will be bringing home their Annual Written Report on Monday. Please check school bags for these. We would appreciate it if you could return the comments sheet enclosed to give us your feedback. Thank you.
PARENT COUNCIL
Our Parent Council will meet on Monday 28th March at 7pm. This meeting will take place using video conferencing software. If you wish to join us, please leave a message with the school office and a digital invitation will be sent.
SHARING OUR LEARNING
Each week at assemblies we invite classes to share their learning. This week we had contributions all the way from our Nursery class to P.7. You can see why we had to distribute Confident Individual certificates this week. So proud of each one of you!
