Week 1 Menu coming up:
Remember, all pupils from P.1 to P.5 receive a free school meal daily.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Remember, our school photographer will be in on Monday and Tuesday of next week: individual shots on Monday, with sibling and P.1/P.7 class photos on Tuesday. As I have said previously, we know this means many pupils will need to come dressed for photographs on both days.
For this reason teachers will not plan PE lessons on these days. NO PE CLOTHES PLEASE – full uniform only.
COMMONWEALTH DAY
P. 6 & P.7 pupils are taking part in a walking tour on Monday afternoon, finding out about local war heroes. The tour will be led by a member of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Charity.
WEST OF SCOTLAND PARASPORT FESTIVAL
Last Thursday we went to watch one of our classmates, Alexander, taking part in a sports festival. We went with Mr Sharp and we went to Linwood to a sports centre where the event was taking place. We watched him do lots of activities . We especially enjoyed watching Alexander playing basketball and we gave him a big cheer when he scored a basket. We also watched him play table tennis, judo, basketball, badminton and athletics. We all enjoyed being supportive to Alexander and after the festival we all enjoyed our McFlurry with Mr Sharp.
