  • Both served with Pearl Peas (garden peas) and Water Waffles (potato waffles)
  • Arctic Roll
  • Neptune’s Juice (diluting juice)

For the rest of the week we will be following the Week 3 menus:

CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Our school and nursery both plan to have our Christmas Lunch on 8th December this year.

CHRISTMAS PARTIES

We will continue to monitor the changing situation re COVID-19.  At the moment we plan to celebrate with class parties.  As with Hallowe’en, we would require that pupils come to school dressed for their party in the morning to minimise changing and avoid lunchtime trips home.

FLU VACCINATION CATCH-UP

The vaccination team will be back in school next Friday, 26th November, for the vaccination catch-up for those pupils who missed it on their last visit.

COP26 EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION

Our P.5 & P.6 pupils will be visiting Summerlee next Wednesday to take part in a Coal to Climate Change workshop.  This will look at local industry and how this has changed in light of current concerns over climate change.  This will link closely to our COP26 work as a school.  We look forward to them reporting back to us!

P.5 RUGBY

We are delighted to welcome a Rugby coach to work with our P.5 pupils for the next 4 weeks.  Please be assured that a full risk-assessment of any activities will be carried out in line with current COVID guidance.

WINTER WEATHER

Can I remind all families to ensure children come to school with a warm, waterproof jacket every day.  Teachers continue to take learning outside whenever we can and cold weather will not keep us in at playtime!

PARKING

Many thanks to everyone who is trying to find a safe, legal parking spot a short distance from the school gates at drop-off and pick-up times.   We continue to ask for this in order to keep your child safe before and after the school day.
