REMEMBER, SCHOOL AND NURSERY ARE NOT OPEN ON MONDAY AS WE HAVE AN IN-SERVICE TRAINING DAY FOR STAFF.
Week 2 menus for both the school and nursery for lunches next week.
Looking ahead to some special lunches coming up… on 22nd November we have a special Under the Sea menu (more details next week!) and on Wednesday 8th December we plan to have our Christmas Lunch! Look out for further details soon.
PARENTS’ NIGHTS
As you know our Parents’ Nights will be carried out by PHONE CALLS this time. If you haven’t done so already, please book your appointment for school pupils using the online booking system. Teachers will phone you at your chosen time next Wednesday or Thursday.
Nursery Staff will speak to parents at drop off and pick up times to organise their time-slots the following week.
PARKING
Can I please remind everyone of the need to park safely and legally before and after the school day. It is our priority to keep your child safe.
We must also be mindful of our neighbours too. Respect is one of our key school values and we want to show our local community that we care about the needs and feelings of each other.
HT’S GOLD BOOK
Our Gold Book has started again! Please remember to complete a nomination form if your child has done something you are very proud of. This can be something they have achieved at home or in an after-school club.
ASSEMBLIES
We continue to enjoy stage assemblies, with a few classes meeting together in the hall weekly. This week our House Captains and Vice-Captains shared some of the ideas for future events. I am very excited to see what they are going to do with some of these ideas! Awards this week were for Mathematicians, but we had some extra certificates for demonstrating our school values too. FANTASTIC! Well done to all who received a certificate this week. Now, who will be receiving Writing Awards next week?
