Week 1 menu next week for both the nursery and school.
LONG WEEKEND
Please remember that we are now closed for the local bank holiday. School, nursery and breakfast club will all reopen at the usual times on Tuesday 1st June.
HEALTH WEEK
Please ask your child what activities they have taken part in this week. I have been blown away at the range of tasks classes have managed to fit into these past 4 days! From First Aid to daily exercises, from dance to mindfulness, everyone has given their all! As always, huge thanks must go to Mr Sharp for his passion for sport and his vision to make it work in these difficult times! We simply couldn’t do it without him.
REPORTS
All reports should have come home to you earlier this week. Please return any feedback sheets at your earliest convenience.
END OF YEAR CELEBRATIONS
The advice from the Scottish Government and NLC remains that parents cannot be invited in to attend special events, even if these are held outside. We are all sorry that it has come to this, but we have plans in place to record our Nursery Graduation and P.7 Leavers’ Assembly and we will share these with the families involved before the end of term. Should the guidance change, we will of course look at our plans again.
SCOTTISH WEATHER
I know I have said this recently, but we continue to be confused by our Scottish weather. Waterproof jackets, sun cream and, on some days, warm jackets are still needed to allow for regular outdoor learning. Thank you for your support in this.
JELLY BEAN MAN
Many thanks to everyone who continues to make your weekly nursery donations. Every penny is much appreciated, allowing us to buy snacks and treats for your children. You can continue to contribute each week by popping your donation in an envelope and passed to a member of staff in the nursery.
And finally, let’s hope the sun shines a little this weekend. I think we all deserve a wee break!
