Wow!  What can I say?  Yet again, the effort and enthusiasm shown by our entire school community has been outstanding!  We are very conscious that this Hallowe’en is going to be very different for all families and we are delighted that you have supported us to ensure none of our safety procedures were compromised whilst we made sure everyone had fun this week.  Happy Hallowe’en @ Home to you all tomorrow!

I am delighted to welcome 3 new members of staff to our school team.  Mrs Quinn started in our office this week as our Senior Clerical Assistant and she has hit the ground running, getting to know some boys and girls already.  In our nursery, we welcomed Mrs Corbett and Mrs Dunlop before the holiday.  They have already become a vital part of the support network for our youngest learners.

As you will be aware, we are not in a position to take the school to the pantomime this year, as we usually do.  We are looking at virtual alternatives and hope to be able to confirm our plans very soon.  This treat will be covered by the school fund and will not cost our families any additional money.

Next week is Bonfire Night.  We will continue to deliver a safety message through lessons in class and would ask you to do the same at home to ensure everyone stays safe this autumn.

HAPPY HALLOWE’EN!
