What’s on this week?
Another busy week in store for all at Kirkshaws; kicking off with Hallowe’en Disco fun on Monday evening.
Don’t forget there is a change of menu for Scottish School Meals Week. It is always best to discuss the menu with your child to make sure they know their options each day.
We have student teachers from Glasgow University and work experience pupils from St Andrews High School joining us this week. We are looking forward to showing off the best of our learning to these visitors. | |
Monday | Mr Sharp starts on-line training this week in order to prepare us for our journey towards becoming a Rights Respecting School.
Football Clubs continue after school today.
Hallowe’en Disco Time!! 6.00pm – 7.00pm for Nursery to P.3 pupils 7.15 pm – 8.30pm for our older children. |
Tuesday | Hallowe’en Parties will be taking place morning and afternoon in our Nursery today.
Whole School fancy-dress parade in the afternoon. Bedrock Gardens are in school today, making improvements to our outdoor learning areas. After-school clubs today include Archery and Musical Theatre. The Football Friendship League also continues each Tuesday.

Wednesday | Bedrock Gardens will be back in today – let’s hope the weather is kind to them!

Thursday | We will be developing some Pupil Voice opportunities during assemblies today.
The Green Gang continue to work with Toni, our gardener, to prepare our garden areas for winter. Netball and Archery for our younger learners at 3.00pm today. |
Friday | A group of pupils off to ASDA this morning – you will receive individual notification if your child is involved.
As usual, it’s Girls’ Football after school today. |
Our Parents’ Appointments are due to take place on Thursday 23rd November. Look out for information letters coming home in bags this week. |
