Holy Family staff and pupils represent our school at Motherwell Diocese Education Mass.

We celebrated World Kindness Day in Holy Family today. This was led by our Mini Vinnies who spoke about it during our weekly assembly. Each class completed kindness activities and tried to engage in lots of acts of compassion.

At Friday’s Mass our Mini Vinnies participated in a Commissioning Ceremony where they were welcomed into the St. Vincent de Paul society. The Mini Vinnies are the youngest members of the SVP organisation who try to treat others as they would like to be treated.  During the ceremony, they made a pledge to embody the values of kindness and service.  Well done to them all.

Primary 4 and some Primary 7 children helped our community by litter picking in the park. Great work!

Here are the lost items in primary 3 at the moment. If you recognise anything, please let us know. The 2 main issues are-

• Unmarked clothes
• Children leaving clothes around the school, such as dinner hall, and not being able to retrace their steps.

Please help us by labelling all uniform and encouraging your children to take care of their own belongings. We will work on this in class too.

If you have anything at home, such as jumpers or water bottles that aren’t your child’s, please send them back.
