Homework is set each week to support work being done in class and reinforce important points of learning to help your children become successful learners. Last week 40% of children did not return their homework so I would ask all parents this week to encourage your child to complete the tasks set, thank you.

Language – All

As part of our work on Divided City, we discussed the meaning of a variety of words and phrases related to sectarianism. Today, we looked at the word, “tolerance” and examples of ways in which we can show tolerance of people’s views, opinions, religion and appearance.

Can you create a poster encouraging others to show tolerance in school and in our daily lives? You can choose any layout, maybe a mind-map, spider diagram, illustrations highlighting your ideas.

We begin our work on Time this week. Please take time to revise what has been taught to date by viewing the attached clips and complete the related worksheets in your jotter.

We begin the season of Lent this week and focus on prayer, fasting and almsgiving (charity).
