Literacy 

Spelling Words: 

optician, politician, foundation, infection, creation, impression, permission, television, expansion, confusion. 

Tasks: 

• Write these out three times each in either rainbow spelling, fancy spelling, or capital spelling.
• Then create sentences including at least one of your spelling words.
• Challenge yourself with two or more spelling words in each sentence. 

 

Maths and Numeracy 

Tasks: 

• Try one round of Daily 10 using the 7- or 8-times table and write your answers down in your jotter. 
• Worksheet also provided in class. 

 

Topic – Endangered Animals 

Task – Create a PowerPoint using research based on an Endangered Animal and the reasons for their decline.  

(We will present these in class on Friday) 

 

Enterprise 

• Think of a positive phrase, saying or quote for our Enterprise craft. 

 

Notes 

• Keep practising your song lyrics that you have been learning with Miss Cairney. 
• Remember to bring your 50p in for Frozen Fridays if you would like one of Primary 5’s Ice Lollies.
