Literacy 

Spelling Words: 

parallel, beautiful, dialogue, participation, strategy, beginning, peaceful, success, difference, beneath. 

Tasks: 

• Write these out three times each in either rainbow spelling, fancy spelling, or capital spelling.
• Then create sentences including at least one of your spelling words.
• Challenge yourself with two or more spelling words in each sentence. 

 

 

Maths and Numeracy 

Practise your 7- or 8-times tables using Daily 10 on Topmarks as demonstrated in class and carried out within each lesson. (Level 6 – Multiplication – Tables up to 12 (x7)). 

Tasks: 

• Try one round of Daily 10 using the 7- or 8-times table and write your answers down in your jotter. 

 

 

Health and Wellbeing 

• Create a list of healthy snacks and meals you can have for lunch in your jotter. 
• Use the provided worksheet to answer the questions about a menu and decide how they need changing.  
• Finally, plan a healthy day’s meals for your family to share in class.
