ICT: Children have been given more time to complete their Power Point of their Chosen Scottish Engineer and can bring it in any day this week to share with the class. Again, don’t worry if you don’t have access to a laptop you may write out your information instead.

Red group: spelling rule – double consonants
Collect, traffic, happen, beginning, necessary, address, annoyed, brilliant, collection, successful
- Practise Spelling these words and ask a family member to listen to you and check if they are correct.
- Choose 5 words and write a sentence story with them. Remember to use capital letters full stops and connectives.
Read for pleasure at home. If you do not have any books at home you can choose one from our school library to take home.
Blue group: Common Words
Counting, idea, liked, mile, music, river, running, speechless. outside, money
- Practise spelling these common words as you write them down.
- Try to write 3 sentences with at least 3 different connectives and verbs (doing words) to interest your reader.
- Read the next chapter of your reading book.
