Homework week beginning 11th November 2024
You can find the homework for this week below. There was an issue when I added on the group names on Monday evening that led to the homework no longer being able to be seen. Due to this, homework will be due on Monday to give time for it to be completed.
Red
We are continuing to look at the same common words as last week.

- Read part of your novel aloud.
- Practise writing your common words by choosing one style of fun spelling (for example: rainbow writing, pyramid writing, bubble writing, etc).
- Ask a family member to play a spelling game using your common words with you (for example: spelling hangman, spelling nots and crosses, spelling bingo, etc).

We are continuing to look at the same phoneme words as last week.

- For homework we are focusing on reflecting and reading books we may have read previously. Please read the book at home with the support of an older family member.
Numeracy
Each week we will focus on a different times table. This week we will be focusing on the 6 times table. Write the table in your jotter and practise saying it aloud each day.
For the next few weeks we will be focusing on addition. Try some of the active addition games below to practise your addition skills.

Expressive Arts
This week the pupils were given new groups. They have given their group a name.
For homework could pupils create a poster on a blank A4 sheet of paper to represent their group. The poster should include the group name and an illustration to go along with the name. The winning posters for each group will be decided next Friday.
