Primary 6 pupils recently took their science learning outdoors to explore Water Filtration. Working in teams, they designed and built their own filters using materials such as sand, stones and gravel to clean muddy water. The activity encouraged pupils to think like scientists as they tested their designs and observed how well their filters worked. Along the way, they developed important META skills, including curiosity, collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking. It was fantastic to see the teamwork and enthusiasm as pupils experimented, shared ideas and improved their designs.
