Homework will be collected on Friday.

Literacy:

Spelling rule – prefix all

  • Choose 5 words and write sentences with them. Remember to include capital letter, finger spaces, joining words and full stops.
  • Monday we will be reading chapter 1 and 2 of our new reading book. Please read chapter 3 at home with the support of an older family member.

Phoneme sound – ‘th’ (thing, three, thunder, etc)

Common words – this, that, then

  • Write common words 3 times.
  • Be a text detective – Find your phoneme sound ‘th’ in books at home and write them down.
  • For homework we are focusing on reflecting and reading books we may have read previously. Please read the book at home with the support of an older family member.

 

Numeracy:

Each week we will focus on a different times table This week it will be the 2 and 10 times tables. Write the tables in your jotter and practise saying them aloud each day.

We have also been looking at measure in class. Click the link below and try the measuring games. Borrow a ruler from class if you don’t have one at home.
