Christina High School Maths Challenge
Congratulations to our Maths Teams who took part in the Chryston Maths Challenge, coming a very respectable second. They are true Mathletes. Also well done to Stepps Primary on claiming victory.
Primary 3 working hard!
The Rainforest
The children learned all about the layers of the rainforest. We can name and identify all the layers with confidence. We will be learning about the animals who live in each layer.
Badminton
The class had fun using the net for the first time today. A lot of the children found it challenging to hit the shuttlecock over the net but they know that with lots of practise they will get better!
Portraits
The children learned how to draw a face and we chose a friend to draw. The class had lots of fun drawing their friend. Some of the drawings were so good that we could identify who they were.
Multiplication
The children enjoyed using pasta shapes to help them find out the answers to the 4 times table.
Reading for information
Today P1a were reading for information. They did well to read some facts about queen bees and use the information to complete a chart. Next the children will learn all about worker bees.

P4/5 multiplication madness!
We have been working hard on our table facts in P4/5. Today we enjoyed some games and challenges using our times tables.
Help Needed
As you are aware we are investing in outdoor clothing and equipment to allow our children to learn outdoors and in the garden no matter the weather. We need help to build a storage unit for our sets of wellies and waterproof jackets and trousers. Please contact Lee Martin if you are able to offer any assistance.
Properties of Triangles
P5 have been investigating the properties of different triangles. To show off their learning, they created some very eye-catching posters yesterday!
