The senior choir have learned a new song all about being yourself. It’s from the new movie, “The Greatest Showman.”

We have been trying really hard to improve our mental agility by practising our “Big Maths Learn Its” each day. Please also revise these sums at home to improve your time. Remember, we have 60 seconds!

Today we learned where in the world Africa is. We completed a mapping task and familiarised ourselves with the names of the African countries.

A huge thank you to all of the parents who came along to join their children with some literacy activities on Friday. It was lovely seeing so many of you there. We are looking forward to another stay and play session this Friday. This week’s focus will be numeracy.
P5 welcomed 200 brown trout eggs last week and we have been looking after them very carefully. We have been monitoring the temperature, adding ice to keep it cool and checking for eggs that haven’t survived.
P5 are so enthusiastic and we are looking forward to Wullie paying us another visit on Wednesday.

A massive well done to all P6 children for holding an excellent Burns Supper! Your hard work paid off and you all delivered your speeches, poems and songs clearly, confidently and with great expression.
