P4 ‘Birds’ Open Event
Thanks to all family and friends for coming along to Primary 4’s open event. We were thrilled that it was so well attended and the children had a great time entertaining you with jokes, facts and songs. We hope you liked taking part in the bird beak experiment too!

P4 Birds of the Future!
P4 designed their own birds of the future, complete with suitable adaptations to live in a world different from the present. Some had the ability to live underwater, some could glow in the dark and others were adapted to eat litter! What an imaginative class!
P4 Stirling Castle
We had a fabulous day at Stirling Castle today! All the children had a ball!
P4 Beautiful Birds
Today P4 made some bird art with stencils and paint. They cut out their bird stencil, secured it with blue tack and added watercolour paint around it to create a marvellous silhouette. Don’t they look great?

P4 Cranachan and Fish Paté
P4 had lots of fun this term cooking some healthy Scottish themed recipes in the learning kitchen. We have all tried new foods and are aware of the great health benefits of certain types of foods.
Earth Hour 2017
Last week, Primary 4 were hard at work researching “Earth Hour.” We used ‘i-Movie’ on the i-pads to create our own news reports to raise awareness of climate change.
Did you take part in Earth Hour on Saturday the 25th March 2017?
Here are some of our Confident Individuals explaining what Earth Hour is and how you can make a positive change to our world.
P4 RAGMAN ROLLS
P4 CHARLES RENNIE MACKINTOSH
We have been learning about the famous Scottish artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh. We used some of his inspirations such as the natural world and geometric shapes to create our own artwork. We used a demonstration video to help us draw the famous “Mackintosh Rose.” Have a look at our fabulous stain glass window designs!
