The senior choir have learned a new song all about being yourself. It’s from the new movie, “The Greatest Showman.”
P5 welcomed 200 brown trout eggs last week and we have been looking after them very carefully. We have been monitoring the temperature, adding ice to keep it cool and checking for eggs that haven’t survived.
P5 are so enthusiastic and we are looking forward to Wullie paying us another visit on Wednesday.
Primaries 4 to 7 are taking part in financial education workshops this week. Today, we learned about when money first began to be used and identified the notes, coins and cards we use as tender in this country today. Thanks to Paula and Jamie for coming in to teach us and for giving us a money DVD each to take home!
A great afternoon in Primary 5. We experienced what it was like on the Titanic using role play and we dressed up too! Thank you to Sean for a fantastic learning experience.
Today in class we started to make 3D first class cabin rooms from the Titanic. As you can see the class have lots of great ideas and we are looking forward to seeing the finished product!
Knots and crosses fun in PE this week. We used this fun game as part of our warm up. We had to work together as a team to sprint to the hoops and place a coloured marker in a circle, we kept going until we had 3 in a row. Class participated really well and we challenged ourselves by adding in a few sit ups and burpees before we ran to the hoops.
The P4-7 Choir started rehearsing for the Auchengeich Memorial Service and learned this famous song for the first time. Can you recognise it?
Primary 5 enjoyed reinacting the lifeboat scenes from The Titanic. We used a freeze frame approach to show the improvisation. The class performed really well and had a great time.
In PE we took advantage of the sunshine and continued to develop our skills in possession games.
