P1-P3 Badminton Club
Unfortunately Badminton 4 U have had to cancel tonight’s Badminton club due to a family emergency (7/2/17). If you are unable to collect your child at 3.00pm please phone the school to allow us to make arrangements.

Andy Warhol Inspired Art
After looking at some of Andy Warhol’s work, P1 created their own. Here is a few super examples. The colours look very effective.
Banana Milkshake
After learning about where milk comes from the children made and tasted banana milkshakes.
While they were waiting on their turn they investigated different food and sorted them according to where they came from e.g. Plant or animal.
Our Favourite Toys
Today we spoke about our favourite toys. We also helped Miss Scott make a list of things we know about moving toys and things we would like to learn over the next few weeks.

Celebrating Success in P1
Well done to all of these children who achieved full marks in their ‘Beat That’ test today. They were able to recall all doubles to 10 and write them down in 20seconds or less.
Primary 1 Enrolment
Enrolment for Primary 1 August 2017 will take place in school on the following dates:
Tuesday 17 January 6.00-7.00pm, Wednesday 18 January 9.15-10.30am and Thursday 19 January 2.00-3.30pm.
Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2017 and 28 February 2018 should be registered at the local catchment school. If you wish to make a placing request or defer entry to school enrolment at school is still essential.
Please bring your child’s birth certificate and council tax statement.

Hosanna Rock – Christmas Nativity
Families wishing to buy additional tickets for this years nativity can now do so. The performance on Friday 16 December will start promptly at 9.30am and 1.30pm. Doors will open at 9.00am and 1.00pm. Tickets are £3.00 per adult and £1.50 per child. Tea/ Coffee and a festive treat are available after each performance.
