ART AND DESIGN DEPARTMENT

Twenty S1 pupils really enjoyed a special illustration talk and workshop on the theme of ‘How to draw a Dragon’ with Scottish illustrator and artist Kate Leiper on the 29th October. Kate showed the pupils lots of examples of her published work and gave them tips for illustrating children’s book characters. Pupils spent time creating their own dragon character and said that they found the event fun, interesting and inspirational.
