CUPID STRIKES EARLY AT GREENFAULDS HIGH SCHOOL!
This Valentine’s Day came early for the staff and pupils of Greenfaulds High school. Four of the school’s Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award group organised the sale of roses, messages and chocolates that were delivered during period 1 on Friday 9th February to the unsuspecting recipients around the school! The team of S4 pupils (Jack Guild, Tara McGinley, Erika Anderson and Teigan Burns) managed to raise £120 for their efforts that they then chose to donate to Redburn School.
GEOBUS
On Wednesday 14th March, GeoBus will be coming into the school to work with a range of year groups on different Geographical themes.
SAPHIR WORKSHOP
A number of pupils recently took part in an employability workshop. The workshop looked at the following: Skills identification and evidencing skills, the perfect CV and how to draw attention to yourself, typical modern interview questions, handling rejection, S1 job statistics, and a mock assessment observed exercise. A very worthwhile exercise for our workforce of tomorow.
SCHOOL CLUBS
Departments and staff within Greenfaulds High School offer a range of school clubs throughout the year to challenge and inspire our pupils. With many practical, recreational and educational clubs taking place there is sure to be something that will interest all of our pupils. Pupils should look out for details of new clubs posted around the school. PLEASE SEE THE WEEKLY ACTIVITIES TAB ON THE SIDEBAR OF THE SCHOOL WEBSITE @ http://www.greenfaulds.n-lanark.sch.uk/
