P1a are glad to be back after the holidays. We are ready to go in term 2 and can’t wait to learn new things. We’ve been learning more new sounds and using our “reading glasses” to help us to be better readers. We have also been working on hard on learning strategies to solve subtraction problems & learning to forward roll correctly in P.E. Take a look at us in action…

P5 have been enjoying the start of their Scotland topic by researching famous Scottish artists. This week they have been learning about Steven Brown and beginning to create ‘Harris McCoo’ inspired art. Keep checking our website to see the finished product next week.

P1a had a great day at their Christmas party! We had party games, dancing and lovely snacks. We all looked amazing in our party clothes!

Primary 1 had a huge surprise today. After our Christmas lunch we could hear sleigh bells… we followed the sound & then we found glitter footprints at the office! We followed the footprints and it led us to SANTA CLAUS! We all got to chat to Santa and got an amazing present too. Christmas lunch and Santa visiting – best day ever!
