Hello and welcome to our blog. We appreciate you coming to visit. In our first blog we thought we would start at the beginning and give you a round up of all that has happened so far in primary 6.
When we came back we were delighted to find a new pupil and have a new teacher. Our teacher is very nice and makes our learning fun and we learn a lot. Our new pupil is a boy and he is funny and kind.
In maths we learned about money and how in different situations you use different things like notes, pounds and pennies and credit card and debit cards and gift cards and much more. When we were learning about money another new pupil came to join our class. She is very tall, she is a good actress and she’s funny.
In language we were learning about the new reading strategies and spelling sounds. So far we have done two sounds and they are a and e and we are learning about i and o in term two. There are so many different ways to write the same sounds! Not only that but we have been learning new spelling rules and strategies to help us in our writing.
In our Interdisciplinary we learned about Germany. We learned about the foods, the culture, and the famous attractions and lots of other interesting things. We were delighted to finish our theme off with a fantastic assembly.
At the start of this term we were delighted to get another pupil. We now have 12 boys and just 9 girls in our class and we now have 3 pairs with the same names. It can get confusing!!
So that is term 1! We are now in term two and plan to bring you frequent updates of all that is happening in our class! Thanks for visiting!
