Each class follows North Lanarkshire’s Active Literacy Programme. This incorporates all aspects of Literacy and English.
P4-7 parents should be aware that during term 1 each year, the children complete a modelling block in class and do not get a reading book home. During this time, children are actively encouraged to read for enjoyment at home. Our P1 pupils often do not start reading books until September.
