Primary 1/2 have been learning about our environment and how to look after it. They made posters on the i-pads to encourage people to put their rubbish in the bin. Well done to Gaetano, Wallace, Hanna, Mikey and Abigail for being chosen as this weeks Star Writers!
A lucky primary 2 girl was invited with a group of others to have tea with the Head teacher this week. Her beautiful handwriting and jotter presentation won her the lucky spot. Well Done!

Children in Primary 3 and 4 enjoyed sharing their reading with Primary 7. They loved reading about the strange things people do with food. Great reading!
Primary 6/7 enjoyed a day at the market where they learned about food production. Â They enjoyed experiencing the view from a tractor and trying the different produce. Â Some of the children took on the role of auctioneer while the rest placed their bids on the animals. Â A great day was had by all. Â Thank you to the parent helpers and RHET for supporting our trip.
Well done to all the P6/7 children from Chapelgreen and Banton who took part in the Sportshall Athletics event in the Tryst today. We had a great team who did their schools proud!

The primary ones and twos had great fun showing our dinosaur visitors around the school. They introduced them to the staff and told them about the school rules!
 
 
 
First day for primary ones and their knowledge of the classroom was put to the test with a scavenger hunt. Primary 2’s showed they were great buddies by helping them out.
