P1/2 have began their new PE topic of gymnastics. They showed how they could move in different ways when traveling around the playground and they practiced their flexibility and body control when performing different moves.

Rainy Day Art
P1/2 have been creating some rainy day pictures this afternoon. They were mixing colours to make grey for the clouds and choosing colours that would stand out on their umbrella design.

Grand Opening
A brand new hotel has opened in the local area today, all guests welcome from the furry to the slimey to the slithery and the spikey! Lovely warm and safe accommodation perfect for long winter snoozes. Built with love and care by a team of crafty little builders. Well done to Mason for the great name and well done to everyone for all your hard work in building the hotel. I’m sure it will be a hit with all the local bugs and critters!
Bug Hotel
P1/2 worked so hard as a team this afternoon to get all the resources together to build a bug hotel. Well done to Hudson for taking the lead and getting the job done!

Fire pit Training
P1/2 had their first lesson in fire pit training today. We learned about the safety rules around the fire, what helps to light a fire and how to keep in burning. We all enjoyed some toast from the fire as well.

P1/2 practising their throwing and catching skills with some pom poms and a game of piggy in the middle.
