Primary six and seven have had a busy and nerve racking morning as today was the day they stood up with their parties and gave a speech on the policies they would like to make in the school. After each party gave their speech the voting commenced with the whole school, staff and pupils, coming to make their vote in the polling station. The results will be announced first thing on Wednesday morning.
The parties welcomed the voters at the door handing out their literature to persuade the voters. The atmosphere in the hall was tense as everyone realised that there would only be one winner and that everyone was keeping their vote a secret. I felt nervous as I made my way towards the booth and was aware of the eyes staring at my back ‘willing’ me to vote for them. Phew!
